Children staying at home, children of kindergarten age as well as school children are welcome to visit the activity therapist. Activity therapy is based on the needs of the child and adolescent as well as the wishes of the parents. Activity therapy for children and adolescents is playful, creative and meaningful. Through activities, they learn new skills and affirm existing skills. This is done by supporting motor, cognitive and social skills. Movement, thinking and communication are part of everyday life.

An activity therapist is a specialist in the assessment of activity and functional capacity. Activity therapy uses purposeful activities to support, maintain and promote everyday life.

The activity therapist is part of the support team whose aim is to notice, offer early intervention, advise parents, including by advising more broadly about other necessary services/options for assistance, e.g. rehabilitation, available.

The activity therapy service is available both in the home environment (areas: Saue, Saku, Laagri, Nõmme, Mustamäe, Tallinn city centre) as well as in the therapy room. Creating flexibility and freedom of choice for the parent.
